Details of posts:
A Sports Quota notification has been issued from Secunderabad South Central Railway with 61 posts in the railway zones. This includes Group C and Group D posts.
qualifications:
Candidates with qualifications in various sports in the sports departments and 10th interview qualifications should apply for these.
Age limit:
Those between 18 to 25 years can apply. There is relaxation in age limit for SC, ST, OBC candidates as per the Central Government rules.
Selection Process:
Sports quota candidates applying for Group C and Group D jobs released by South Central Railway will be allotted 10 marks for educational qualifications, 50 marks for achievements in sports, 40 marks for game skill, physical fitness, coach observation. There will be no written test.
fee:
Those applying online will have to pay a fee of ₹500/- for UR, OBC, EWS candidates, ₹250/- for SC, ST, Women, Minority, EBC candidates.
salary:
Candidates selected for Railway Sports Quota jobs will be paid ₹40,000/- for Group C jobs and ₹30,000/- for Group D jobs as per the 7th CPC pay scale. All other central government allowances will be available.
